Dear Friends and Colleagues,
Welcome to JMS Issue #4 of 2019. We appreciate the support of our readers from all around the world. Here is the content of the current issue we hope you will enjoy:
Our Person of the Month is Dr. Bruno Chikly, MD, DO, LMT. Dr. Chikly is a world authority on Lymph Drainage Massage and its clinical application. We suggest all our readers consider Dr. Chikly’s classes to mastermind LDM as a critical component of any clinical massage application.
In We Need Your Help section of the new issue we ask our readers to vote for the JMS‘s Best Case of the Month International Contest for 2019.
In our Introducing New CMMPs section we introduce three new graduates of our Medical Massage Certification Program: Jorge Cruz Saenz, CMMP, LMT; Nancy MacNamara, CMMP, LMT and Brian Boetel CMMP, CMT.
In the Science of Medical Massage section, we published three pieces:

2. In section’s second article Eric Durak, MSc shares with readers the results of an on line survey study on self therapy for Plantar Fasciitis in ‘The Effects Of Dorsi Flexion Stretches On Perceived Pain Levels In Plantar Fasciitis Sufferers: A Self-Selected You Tube Survey’
3. In the third piece, “The Danger Of Intra-Abdominal Work On The Iliopsoas Muscle,” we revisit the important subject of incorrect treatment for tension in the iliopsoas muscle through the abdominal cavity.
In our Case of the Month section, Nancy MacNamara, LMT, CMMP, who recently graduated from our Medical Massage Certification Program, shares with readers the results of Medical Massage therapy for a very complex clinical case, ‘Medical Massage vs 30 Years of Pain and Misery.’
