Hours: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, all days

Saturday: Chronic Headache – Hands-On Training Course

Sunday: Tennis/Golfer’s Elbow. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome – Hands-On Training Course

Monday:  Piriformis Muscle Syndrome. Sciatica– Hands-On Training Course

SEMINAR PROGRAM

 

Day 1. Medical Massage Protocol for Chronic Headache

This class takes students through all the aspects of Chronic Tension Headache and Migraines, from clinical evaluation of the soft tissues, local pathology to step-by-step treatment using Medical Massage Protocol.  

This Medical Massage protocol is recognized and currently used in several hospitals, including world-respected clinical and scientific institutions like the Barrow Neurological Institute. Several of our students have built their entire practice around the clinical effectiveness of Medical Massage Protocols for Chronic Headaches. 

Day 2. Medical Massage Protocol for Tennis/Golfer’s Elbow. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

The first part of the class covers very common abnormalities in the function of the elbow Lateral Epicondylitis a.k.a Tennis Elbow and Medial Epicondylitis a.k.a. Golfer’s Elbow. Nature of abnormalities as well as evaluation of the soft tissues of the elbow and corresponding Medical Massage protocols are discussed in detail. Homework for the patients as well as future preventive measures are presented.

The second part of the class is dedicated to the Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. We discuss the difference between local and reflex variants of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, soft tissue evaluation and Medical Massage protocol for the Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Homework for the patients as well as future preventive measures are discussed as well.

Day 3. Medical Massage Protocols for Piriformis Muscle Syndrome. Sciatica

The topic of the class is Piriformis Muscle, a.k.a. Key to The Lower Extremity. We will cover anatomy, physiology, pathology, and examination of the major causes of the tension in the piriformis muscle and its strategic relations with the Sciatic Nerve. Next, we will discuss the detailed evaluation of the soft tissues in the gluteal area on a layer-by-layer basis. Finally, we will cover step-by-step Medical Massage Protocol to decompress skin, fascia, posterior cervical muscles, and periosteum in the lower back and gluteal area.
